Staff was wonderful and location was great.
The hotel is lovely and I have often stayed there. I was there two nights and a maid did not appear to take away my trash, replace one dirty towel or vacuum the floor. I know you are doing less with maid service but a bit of a touch up is appreciated. I bought four items in the market place: two granola bars, one bag of chips and one pkg of licorice. $40? Really? I called Marriott on an 800 number to make a reservation hoping I could get a better rate in view that I am a senior and a bonvoy member. Expedia picked up the call. They never identified themselves during the call or when I received the confirmation. They charged me tax and recovery fees X2: $139.22 and $69.81. They insisted that I pay the hotel fee up front and pay $43.11 refund portion plan of $43.11. They insisted that is the only way that the hotel would take my reservation. Marriott: really? Is that the type of service that you want to offer your Bonvoy members?????? By the way, the hotel was very quiet. Not many people staying there that weekend.
