Well to start off. It was 86 degrees in the room upon arrival. A/C problems. Specifically asked for pool. We'll found out shortly when when my twin 9yr olds went for a attempted swim. Pool closed. What ? For what. Asked and was wondering why. Front desk kinda like blew it off. Kinda like it was a normal problem. My boys said this is worst holiday inn we ever stayed in. That is the truth. Couldn't do nothing but laugh. Skip this one unless it's winter time and dont need A/C. Or you just want to inmulate a camping out situation. Thanks for sending me this review response. Feel better now.
The staff at this Holiday Inn were very friendly, courteous and helpful. While I initially wanted a location closer to downtown Raleigh, I did appreciate this location is surrounded by restaurants and other conveniences. One important area for improvement is the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night rest. I really hope they improve their beds.
Enjoyed our stay, location was excellent. We will choose this place again.
