I lost power after the big storm that hit Maryland and I couldn’t be at my house. I had my dog with me as well. I was very stressed, I won’t lie, and maybe even a little frantic. The first room I got, the A/C didn’t work to my liking as I’m a very warm person. I went to the front desk and unnecessarily stressed, I was just gonna go somewhere else. The lady at the front desk said “please let me show you one more room, I know you’re coming from home with no lights and I don’t want you to worry about anything”. It was reassuring, helpful and almost motherly in a way which calmed me down ultimately. She took me to another room where the A/C was cool and just overall more comfortable. Throughout my three day stay she and her staff were extremely kind and helpful. They also have a really pretty atrium with a pool in it which was nice! I am grateful for this affordable, comfortable, welcoming hotel that gave me refuge in a power outage.
Was verbally told the pool was open. It was not even though it was within the hours of operation. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very weak. We could not turn up (or down) the heat. It was very cold. The two paper cups were too small and not sealed in plastic. There was no coffee maker in the room. The back of the bathroom door had pealing paint and the floor was dirty. I cannot recommend this hotel.
