There was a mechanical issue with the TV in my first room.And I will switch to another room with no hesitation.

It is around midnight. Flight to Saginaw cancelled. Needed a room. Could not get a room at the Westin in the airport, which turned out to be a good thing. Much more reasonable price at the Radisson. I tried calling the front desk to see if they had a shuttle but no answer. We were going to take a cab to the Radisson but the cab guy said that there was a shuttle to the hotel. We waited for 30 minutes but no shuttle so we decided to take a cab. It was now about one AM and we had been up since three AM traveling. As we were going to the hotel in the cab, we ended up behind the Radisson shuttle, bit of an ironic twist. The room was nice. They do not have a place for breakfast but we had leftovers from our plane trip. Despite the fact that they did not answer the phone, missed the shuttle and did not get breakfast, we would stay at the Radisson again.

It was a nice place to stay. I'm thankful there was a room available because of a delayed first flight I missed my connecting one home. I was able to get a little sleep. I was happy to not have to spend the night at the Detroit airport. Good service, very nice staff. It was an unplanned stay, but it was good. The 24/7 shuttle was terrible, too.
