Our upgraded room (thank you!) was quiet and clean, the beds were comfy and we couldn't think of anything else we needed!
A nice stay, not too far from downtown Portland, served directly by two buslines, 60 and 24A, going into downtown Portland.
We love staying at the Merry Manor. Whenever we come to Portland we always stay there. We love pool/hot tub area plus it's close to everywhere we want to go while in Portland. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Best customer service. Pool and hot tub are excellent. Breakfast was great, such a good variety. All of the staff do an excellent job.
We love being in Maine and trying to keep the state as green as possible. We use LED light bulbs in all of our rooms and public spaces to use less energy. We ask guests to hang their towels if they plan on using them again so we can save water. Our rooms are equipped with a sensor thermostat that shuts the AC or heater off if it detects no on in the room to save electricity.
This is no normal "continental breakfast", we provide a free full American buffet breakfast each morning to our guests. The buffet features 25 different items including several hot item such as waffles, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelettes, bacon, sausage, and many more. There is a special espresso machine that makes a variety of beverages to really get you going!
We have free parking all around the hotel with easy access to guest rooms. We don't charge for bus or truck parking either!
We provide free high speed wofi in all of our guest rooms and throughout the hotel, restaurant and our banquet rooms. We have 100MB per second speed (the highest available to any hotel in Maine)
