San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk

My first stay at this Marriot hotel and it was exceptional. The rooms were so clean and the bed very comfortable. The check in personnel very helpful and gave us good customer service. Great location and easy access to the Riverwalk and mall.
We were here for a conference in the hotel and were very happy with our stay. The concierges, valets and bellmen were exceptionally helpful and kind. The bed was fine, maybe a bit on the soft side, but we slept well enough. Where the hotel really shined was in their downstairs amenities. The bar had great drinks and was comfortable. We grabbed a bite in the hotel restaurant the last night and were really pleasantly surprised with how delicious our food was. They also have a cafe right there that also had other nibbles, some really nice desserts, some chilled ciders and beer and this really cute wall for sundries that was basically an apothecary cabinet with a bunch of labeled drawers with labels like “RAZORS,” “SUNSCREEN,” “PAIN RELIEVER,” etc. Great way to have a ton of stuff available for purchase without all the clutter. One thing to know is that, in our room at least, it was shower only—no tub. I’m a bath girl, but it was a nice shower so it was fine. Great access to the Riverwalk—the location really couldn’t be improved upon. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in San Antonio.
