The hotel is very pleasant, with very comfortable rooms and professional, welcoming staff. Good value for money. Centrally located on Washington’s Mall, close to the National Air and Space Museum (excellent), the National Museum of the American Indian (less interesting) and the Museum of the Bible (excellent).
Stayed one night, it was clean and sufficient for one night stay. DOVE soap/shampoo/conditioner in shower was nice touch. Close to National Mall for Museum visits, about three block walk to Capitol. Clerks at the front desk were friendly with check in. Kids eat free breakfast with adult purchase. Large Breakfast buffet but very expensive and not included in hotel price. Menu had other options, also.

This huge hotel is in the heart of the museum district, a block from the Aron Space Museum and a nice walk across the mall to the National Gallery of Art, the National Archives and all other museums on the Mall. And the staff is wonderfully welcoming. The rooms are clean. There was really nothing not to like.
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Washington Capitol Natl Mall was very good. People at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean; bed was very comfortable(personal preference I didn't like the pillows but my husband had no problem with them!). Shower was good! Did not eat in the restaurant..however husband did go down and get coffee which he said was good. Nice outdoor seating with tables, chairs and umbrellas. Little store next to check in counter was well stocked with beverages,snacks and souvenirs. Very easy to order an Uber and walk right out to the vehicle. We would return to this hotel!👍🙂.
