This a peaceful and well appointed hotel with the feel of a resort. It is located within the state park so the exterior lights are minimal. My room was large and clean and my bed was so comfortable. Best of all the room was dark at night. Some of the rooms look out over a lake and some over the Gulf. Some rooms have balconies. Really beautiful set up! Staff was so helpful.

I thought the rooms were very nice and the bathroom, closet and furniture were all excellent. I especially loved the layout of the hotel, the main admissions room and the area for our convention were well done and fit the landscape of the location and scenery very well. One could walk the whole way from room to hotel to conference rooms without getting wet from rain. The food for our meals were very tasty and were presented very well.
