Inn on the River
The cool thing about Inn on the River is that it is located right on the river, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
My wife and dog and I had a fabulous time staying at The Inn On The River. Also enjoyed Snidders on the river for cocktails.
In January 2925 I reserved a room with two beds for a wedding I was attending near the end of April. I called the main number, not a third party company. When my friend and I arrived we were told we looked like trouble. We laughed and went to our room. The room only had one bed. As we returned to hopefully go to another room we were told that was their last room. The Inn was full. It was time to leave for our function, the bus was there to pick us up. We couldn’t move to another hotel at that moment. At the end of our evening we spoke with a married couple that had just booked that morning and had arrived just before my friend and I. We asked about their experience. They were pleased but said it was old and not taken care of well. They did get two beds for a cheaper price. We were disappointment and said we wouldn’t send anyone there. The manager was always smiling, talking loud and not taking any responsibility for the mix up. She continually said it was my fault for going through a 3rd party on the internet. I’m 71 and I call hotels. I don’t book through the internet. Also the rooms were very small, no hair dryer and no TV. One night cost $256ish with taxes and fees. I’ll head to La Quinta, Best Western, or Holiday Inn next time.
