Ray, one of the 2nd shift desk clerks greeted us with a big smile each time we saw her. Grace worked in the kitchen area. She was happy and a joy to interact with as she performed her duties. Bobbie, she did sales, helped with breakfast one morning and worked the desk several times. She's a goldmine. Cameron, the front office manager was kind and always ready to help in any way that he could. Tiffany, the general manager is the glue that made this fine oiled machine running as well as it did. We has the distinct pleasure of speaking with her perhaps four or more times. Not because we needed anything but because she was such an interesting person and devoted to her guests.
I arrived on Monday for work and there was no Internet for the entire night. The pool was closed when we arrived. The rugs throughout the hallways were stained every few feet, it was disgusting. The bathroom in my room had no latch and would not stay closed, the staff seems apathetic about it. The coffee was out every time I went to visit it and when I told the staff that it was out she said that she could make me more "if I wanted". Yes, it was 8am, I want coffee. I'm not sure where the staff gets the attitude, but they all seem to have the same one. I have stayed at many Hiltons and this is the worst one in a while.
Not pleased they sent out text messages at 2AM with your hotel receipt. When I asked at the front desk I was told, well that’s when they do the audits.”.
I liked this hotel and will be back for another trip in the future. Very good hotel and very close to restaurants and attractions.
