The cool thing about Cape Hatteras Motel is that it is located right on the beach, offering guests easy access to the Outer Banks Beaches.
We were aware that Coming in just days after a hurricane could be a problem, but the staff were fantastic. Room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. With mounds of sand still being removed we were given two options for parking and even notified each night when wash over was expected so we could move our vehicle. I do not think we could have had a better experience. If I could rate it higher, I would!
Many of our rooms have a kitchenette we do not offer breakfast.
