Arrived at hotel at approximately 9 pm. No one was at the front desk had to call which not that unusual. Clerks attitude was this is my job and I'll do what I have to but don't expect more than is required of me. My companion needed assistance walking there was no accommodations i.e wheelchair. Used the luggage cart. I am aware motel 6 is a less expensive accommodation, but welcoming attitude doesn't cost anything. Clerk needs retrained and updated on customer service. Is a $20 dollar deposit for unforseen damaged motel 6 policy. I didn't see it in reservation paperwork. I think some type of compensation should be made for our treatment by staff. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Had to pay a 25 dollar fee in case we damaged the room. Said it was refunded at check out. How would money be refunded without inspection before we leave?.
