1st time here. Place has gorgeous views of the mountains. Friendly staff and wonderful accommodations.

The hotel has been lovingly restored and generally well maintained. A few signs of wear and tear are: the front door to the lobby is badly chipped on the inside. People banging into it with luggage. Probably needs regular painting or metal sheeting for protection. Outside of door shows dirt from people’s hands. Some paint pealing on outside roof trim. Should be scraped and resealed before winter. Toilet too low for us seniors. Suggest you replace with taller unit. Hand rail on wall behind toilet was useless. Heat convectors in our room missing cover where two sections come together. Overall, the walls and wood work throughout the building are beautiful. A few stains noted in floor carpeting. Regular cleaning should be scheduled. Wait staff in dining room ver pleasant. Thank you.
