Front desk was very good with special appreciation to Raven and Ms. Jacob’s.
Everyone was very welcoming. Especially in the restaurant and parking valets.
Friendly staff, clean room, amazing service.
Overall staff were polite and hospitable. Raven set the tone, she helpful, informative. Just great customer service! The room we stayed in was spacious (I would suggest putting just a regular couch in it, there’s enough space) 11th floor corner, the views were amazing! Too bad there’s no access to sit on the patio. Each one of the evening Bar staffs were great as well, along with all the young ladies working valet on Sunday! Thank you all for a great and wonderful stay in Savannah!

Wonderful stay in the perfect location. Lovely, helpful staff. I would enjoy to stay at DeSoto whenever in Savannah.
Clean room, nice bar, decent restaurant.
Showers with all the water anyone could want! Beds are excellent. Lobby bar and restaurant are always great. Everyone has a GREAT ATTITUDE and very helpful and knowledgeable. Been staying there since 1975. Great place!
I was told that every room had balconies, however was not told they were not in operation. I was not given sufficient number of towels in the room. There was no information in the room regarding the pool privileges, gym or a floor plan of the building that showed the exact location or the scheduled time for utilizing of the amenities that were included during my stay. The staff was very sincere and helpful when I asked a question. Overall, I would patronize your hotel in the future. Thank you for your service.
Hotel was packed. Valleys take 20 minutes or more to retrieve your vehicle, elevators are HORRIBLE, no fridge or microwave in the rooms and Savannah has become cluttered with homeless. Sad to watch such beautiful area ruined by this!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Desoto Savannah! This was our first time, and we will be back! Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled up at valet to the moment we checked out! The only thing I wish The Desoto had been room service:0) We had a lot of super quick mornings rushing out the door for volleyball and it would have been wonderful to have had the option to have a nice breakfast before we left without having to sit down or getting it to go:).
Nice to be let in early at 1:00 p.m. Room was nice. Staff was nice.
We came for a funeral and were near the church and reception. The room was nice with a balcony, lovely towels and was clean.
If you want to stay in historic hotel with great southern hospitality, this is the place. Rooms are quite nice and the food at the bar was excellent. Pet friendly also.
We enjoyed our stay at DeSoto. The space was clean and the hotel staff were all very kind. The rooms we dated, but comfortable. Our only complaint was the Spa. It was definitely not the experience we were expecting. They set up in one of the hotel rooms, asked for prepayment, but didn’t provide the experience stated with the service provided.
Excellent!
We will be back.
Great customer service.
