After a five hr drive and feeling anxious ahead of a medical appt @ Duke, the hotel staff went above and beyond for my family and me. The room upgrade excited us all and it was the perfect afternoon for enjoying the pool. The entire staff was courteous and accommodating. Best hotel experience ever. TY!
Made a reservation 20 minutes prior to my check in, which was quick and easy. Room was nice and clean, air conditioner working well. Found after use that the bathroom sink was a very slow drain and the shower door, which looked brand new, would not latch closed, allowing water to leak out onto the floor. I reported these two maintenance items, had a nice breakfast as part of the room price and departed. Nice folks at the counter and in the bar area, parking was plentiful and roomy. Thanks for being the only room available located within five miles of Duke hospital!

Great hotel with good food and friendly service.
Had prepaid reservation. Desk person would not look up under our name. Sent my 80 yr old wife to our car to get confirmation.

Adrienne McFarlane, Front Office Manager, was incredibly helpful as I had several issues which she handled competently with a minimum of fuss. I lost my hearing aid that morning and her reassurance that it would be found was just what I needed to hear. She is an asset to the organization and should be recognized.
Ms. MacFarland at the front desk was incredibly helpful and assured me that if housekeeping finds my hearing aid it will be returned.
Clean rooms, love the key system to gain elevator access. It was crowded when we arrived, but there was little wait.
Hotel was great. The young lady at the desk was awesome and room very comfortable and clean.
