The warm cookie that you are given and the two bottles of water is just icing on the cake. The rooms are clean, the food in the restaurant is delicious and your overall stay will be wonderful. You can't knock it until you try it. So try Doubletree by Hilton Columbia. The money you spend for staying there will be well worth it.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted by pleasant kind staff. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The bonus surprise was the shuttle service to Merriweather Post Pavilion. What a nice visit!
My experience at this hotel, I give a very good rating for the professional and courteous of the staff. Check in was smooth and fast. I checked in late into the evening so unable to preview the entire operation. The room and bathroom was clean. However, Because I usually thoroughly check the room and mattress, after lifting the mattress I found a nip size alcohol bottle under the mattress. I did speak to the manager, but will follow up with leadership. The ambiance and decor of the hotel was also very nice. The lobby was clean, airy and spacious. I didn’t eat at the restaurant the space looked cleaned and welcoming. The cookies are one of the best tasted 5! I would recommend this hotel.
Great location, lovely hotel rooms, can’t wait to stay there in the near future.

I was pleased with the cleanliness of this property. The buffet breakfast was excellent and piping hot. Also the staff was exceptionally pleasant.
Staff were courteous and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. The only detractor was the fan in the bathroom/shower ran continuously. An excellent breakfast was provided with membership. I would stay there again.
I arrive from the airport at 10:30 AM on November 20, 2024. I have a procedure tomorrow morning at John Hopkins Hospital and was very tired and somewhat anxious about the procedure when I arrive at the airport. I already had in mind that I needed to wait until 3:00 PM to get a room, fortunately that was not the case and they had a room already available. I was overfilled with gratitude, humidity and very thankful that I was offered the available room. My husband and I usually stay at Doubletree by Hilton on twin in Columbia Maryland. I have specialty doctors at John Hopkins Hospital and this hotel was recommended to us by John Hopkins, thank you very much for making this a very easy and relaxing trip. And thank you for your excellent staff and managers. Melody and Kevin Costa.
