Front desk people were awesome, room was very comfortable.
We had a great room and as the weather was less than perfect it was nice to rest in comfort. We had dinner in the restaurant. I ordered salmon that was overcooked and over seasoned. It was our anniversary and thought we would have a decent meal.

Over charged for two rooms. Terrible restaurant, food. Two lakeside rooms were reserved and billed. Upon arrival the rooms were changed to regular rooms. At checkout we were surprised with a $75.00 pet fee. The "restaurant was terrible. Not what it used to be. We asked for a refund. We won't be back. There are plenty of better hotels in Detroit Lakes. Brown foam in the hot tub.
The room was updated and the staff was friendly.

We stayed for two days for a wedding that was hosted at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our son still loved the pool.
