Had an amazing experience.

Room was great and food was also.

We visit every year for my wife's birthday. The rooms are always clean and well kept with great views of the waterfront. Delicious food and great service at Freighters.

The hotel, staff, room, balcony view of the water and all the amenities excellent! Everyone was friendly, courteous, helpful and all the emenities excellent. We were there to celebrate our friend’s wedding reception and was so delighted by the inside and outside venue! A wonderful experience all around!

Waited an extra hour to check in because the room "wasn't ready". It was supposedly being cleaned but still had trash on the floor next to a chair. Had an event to attend so the delayed check in was frustrating and inconvenient.

A warm welcome and everyone was polite and friendly. Very, very clean room.

I travel frequently for work, and this hotel has been the best by far. It’s very clean, the customer service is great, and the food was awesome. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking time away or as a venue. Thank you!

Very clean hotel. bathroom was poor quality, toilet was very low to the ground, shower had weak pressure. No continental breakfast was disappointing. Very high priced for services available.

The hotel was very modern, clean and relaxing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Hot water was instant in the shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great to have the restaurant right in the hotel. Very reasonable and delicious.

Very clean rooms with awesome view of the river. The kids loved the pool, I enjoyed the hot tub. Amazing restaurant in the hotel also.

I booked a three night stay I was told I payed for an 'upgrade' with a room with a view of the St. Clair River and a balcony with a King Sized bed. The only thing accurate was the King Size bed no 'river view'(a view of the parking lot) and 'no balcony.' I paid a whopping $300 a night and didn't receive what I paid for I don't at all mind paying for a service if and only if I receive what exactly I pay for. I am very displeased with the accommodations I was looking forward to the river view and balcony in stead I was given Room # 359 and a view of the parking lot.

The hotel and $225 (!) room were fine. I got there after a five hour drive and went to the hotel bar and restaurant for a after travel snack. It was CLOSED at ten PM when the hotel was FULL. Not just the restaurant, but the BAR was closed at ten PM with a full house on a Thursday night. What kinda crazy is that ? I will re think staying there next time because the food and beverage amenity is an important part of any hotel that charges that sort of money for a room.

The stay was good and being next to the water to watch the ships was great!
