The cool thing about Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress is its central location, just steps away from South Congress Avenue and a short walk from Lady Bird Lake.
I am a big fan of Embassy Suites brand. All their hotels that I stayed in are comfortable and provide excellent service. I stayed in Embassy Suites in downtown Austin twice. I will be coming back. I love their suites with a king bed in a separate bedroom. Living room is huge, with a sofa, dining table and big screen TV. The hotel provides terrific breakfast and there is a daily happy hour with complimentary drinks. Location is perfect, within walking distance to the lake, Capitol and other downtown attractions. The price for two weekend nights is not cheap, but more than reasonable compared to other hotels nearby.
