We have been driving by and admiring The Lucerne Inn for several years now on route to our home in Jonesport, ME. We had the opportunity to stop for dinner and stay overnight. We had a lovely dining experience the food was delicious, the staff was especially friendly and the dining room was comfortable and welcoming. Our room, one of the modest ones offered, was very clean and homey not at all the sterile feel of a large hotel. My husband played a round of golf while our dog and I enjoyed the fall sun and views. We are so happy we finally stopped and will definitely do so in the future. What a great find!

I have stayed at the Lucerne twice a year for about four years and enjoy my stays immensely.
This hotel is exactly what I wanted to stay in, in the middle of nowhere in Maine. The fall colors were changing, making the view really beautiful. The hotel restaurant and bar had amazing food and drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This building is 200 years old. It has a lot of charm!
This was a lifesaver; all the other hotels in Bar Harbor were booked solid and they had a room available. It has a great atmosphere, great rooms and is very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
