we always love the warmth and helpfulness of the staff at the desk, at breakfast, in housekeeping. this time the property seemed to be a little short of budget to keep things to previous standards. Please, someone, replace those smelly carpets in the two elevators. one actively smells bad. the lights in the hallways should be the same shade of white. a little more attention to the planters and the stains on the hardscaping around the front entrance. Again, staff are trying, but some of the basics need more attention and I'd guess some more money. Replacing hallway lighting with a standardized shade of light bulb does not cost any more. and there is no excuse, conceivably, for those carpets in the elevators.

The room and hotel were clean, orderly and well presented.
