HIE Little River is our first choice when coming home to visit family in Loris and surrounding areas. It’s away from Myrtle and just outside NMB which takes you away from traffic (just slightly) and is less crowded and noisy. It’s located near a marina that provides a nice backdrop and there is walkway around it (partially) that gives you some beautiful views. Over the last 10 years, the property has been well maintained. Finally, the staff at the reception desk and breakfast area deserve “high marks.” Almost forgot: there is a restaurant next door with friendly staff and decent scotch.

The desk clerk told us breakfast was until 10:30, but it actually closed at 10. Nice view of the marina though from the breakfast area.
This hotel was very clean and conveniently located. It isn’t fancy, but it had everything we needed. There is a very nice boardwalk behind it that goes around a marina. Was fun to see the boats while getting some exercise and breathing in the fresh air. There is also a nice seafood restaurant and fun, fancy gift shop next door. The receptionist and employees at this hotel were very helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff was amazing and very accommodating. They were so friendly. We would definitely stay here again if the need arises in the future also, the beds were very comfortable! We got a great night of rest. We gave them five stars!
The hotel was very clean, but I think that what stands out the most is every single person in the staff. I came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast every morning. We will go back for certain.
