The cool thing about Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland is its central location in the heart of Portland, just a short walk from popular attractions like Powell's City of Books and Pioneer Place.
Jerimiah was very friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Room was very nice.
Last year we had 11 days without power after Portland froze solid in a dreadful ice storm the ice layers were four inches thick and prevented us from getting out to a hotel until seven days later! This year I wasn’t going to take any chances, but we have a kitty we couldn’t leave behind in the cold. We’ve stayed in crappy places just to have a place to keep our cat so I wasn’t expecting much for the low price we got from Hyatt. Boy were we happily surprised! This place is gorgeous, the staff is fun, friendly and welcoming, the steak and frites with aioli was sublime, my Sazerac hit the spot and the spacious room and quiet location left us rested and feeling safe and comfortable. I feel so good about my decision to escape to Hyatt! And thank you again for making a pet friendly room available for us, we will be back again. See you at the next snowstorm!
