Hampton Inn Cambridge
Hampton Inn Cambridge offers a range of amenities including an indoor pool, a spa tub, a fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and free Wi-Fi.
The beds were firm and pillows very comfortable, built in four foot long desk /reading lamp attached to a 7 foot long dresser with lots of drawers for clothing, with a huge 50 inch TV mounted above and adjacent to the dresser was a luggage rack with a one set of drawers and with shoe rack below adequate for several pairs of shoes. You can hang up your clothes directly from there to the closet facing it and several hooks were mounted on the wall above for jackets and heavy coats. Underneath the large dresser was a microwave, a small fridge, coffee maker w/supplies and ice bucket and paper cups. A nice size closet w/iron and ironing board and a full length mirror across from the spacious and modernized bathroom, as well as another oval mirror mounted above the desk, to double as a make up vanity for the ladies. The decor and accents were beautiful and gave the room a warm appearance. Between the beds was built in night stand w/2 lamps easily accessible, with more outlets to plug in your cell phone or a CPAP machine. On par with hotels we stayed at in Tokyo and Kyoto Japan.
Clean room. Friendly staff. Everything looked good, no bad smells, good food at breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The only negative comment I wish to make concerns the lack of a grab bar in the shower. My wife recently had hip replacement surgery and is a bit unsteady. a bar would have been a good asset.
