Kudos to all the staff members! They were all welcoming, nice and professional! Enjoyed all the great conversations with the staff! Special recognition to the lady that prepared breakfast every morning! She was very helpful and nice. We lingered at breakfast time, noticing the lady staying on top of everything! Keeping items on the breakfast bar filled, keeping counters and tables clean, all the while with a big smile on her face! The rooms were great! Very clean! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!
This is our second time staycation this property. The staff is always great. Dana was especially helpful this visit. I bring my 93 year old father to visit his 101 year old brother. It is a long trip from Asheville for him. She went above and beyond to see that he was comfortable. I really appreciate the extra effort she showed. We will be back next year to celebrate my Uncle’s 102nd birthday!

However, the booking experience was terrible. I was under the impression that I would be making a reservation directly with the hotel; however I learned when I arrived that the reservation was made through a third party. This increased my bill over $150.00. I have unsuccessfully attempted to gain a refund of the overpayment. I've stayed at this hotel many times.
