The hotel stay was for my family, who were visiting from Washington. Since I had stayed there before and loved the experience, I thought they would love it as well. They returned with raving reviews about the location and accommodations; they also loved that it was within walking distance of many tourist attractions.
I would recommend to family and friends.
One mile walk to Seaport Village with shops and dining. Ask for levels 10 14 as you will get either a fantastic ocean view, or beautiful city view.

Our room was cleaned really well even though I wasn’t expecting it. Concierges at this hotel were very helpful.
Hotel is located across street from cruise terminal. Excellent location. Staff was helpful with easy checkin and assistance transporting luggage to our room. Rooms well appointed and taken care of. Attractive lobby. Easy access to many restaurants and bars. Recommend this hotel.
Celia, who checked us into our room was extremely attentive and friendly. We was also very knowledgeable and provided helpful information that made our stay even better!
My family and I had two spectacular connecting rooms with balconies overlooking the bay. This final leg of our California visit was thanks to Julyda who made us ALL very, very pleased with her kindness and efforts. She is an exceptional first point of contact at the Wyndam Bayside. We were so lucky to have had her service us. If we ever have the opportunity to return to San Diego, I will most definitely be staying at the Wyndam Bayside!

My husband and I have been guests at Bayside for over 15 years. The rooms are spacious, the staff accommodating and the location is exceptional.
