We had our floors redone and needed a place to stay for a few days. Hampton Inn in LaGrange was a great choice. Quiet, clean, great pool, nice breakfast and close to wonderful lake.
Like most motels, their commitment to being environmentally responsible is quite poor. But it was clean and safe and staff were friendly. The only two issues with the room is that there is now way to turn a light on or off within a few steps of the door and the blackout curtain is messed up.
Stayed in room202. The only chair in the room was very dirty and full of stains from spilled who knows what. Also, shower water pressure was no more than 20 25psi. Not an enjoyable stay so one night was more than enough. I’ve stayed at several HI’s over the years and this is the first bad experience I’ve encountered! Breakfast lady was very nice.
