This is my go to hotel in San Antonio. Location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is included and the breakfast area is always shiny clean.
I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn Hotel San Antonio. Booked my room online, no problem. Hot breakfast in the morning and accommodations were clean and comfortable.
Thought I had left a small bag of luggage in our room. However didn’t realize this until my husband and I arrived home in Houston. Called the hotel as soon as I realized this and spoke with Theresa. I described the bag and my main concern was my medication inside. She told me housekeeping staff was gone until the next morning. She then called me later to say she had called them to see if they had seen the bag I described and asked them to please be on the lookout for my bag as I described it to her, the next day when they came to work. I informed her that my brother and sister in law lived in San Antonio and could pick up the bag if indeed it was found. She asked for their names so she could verify if they came to pick it up. Since they live very close to the hotel, my sister in law went to make contact and was treated with respect for coming. I understood that the bag might never be found and that was entirely my responsibility. But Theresa who was concerned because I had medication inside the bag, was on top of everything. Somewhat later I found my bag HAD made it home amongst our luggage. My husband misunderstood the bag I was Referring to. This young lady showed patience and compassion and went out of her way to help me. We thank her so much for the time and care she bestowed on a complete stranger! Thank you Theresa!
