Grand Hyatt DFW - Connected to the airport

A wonderful brief stay!

Wonderful staff especially Deanna who are so helpful. Great rooms with very nice amenities. Plan to stay every DFW trip.

Due to the airline running behind, I missed my connecting flight. I needed a room for the evening and booked online to get a room at Grand Hyatt. I was exhausted, traveling alone (senior citizen) and the greet staff were so kind. They provided me with toiletries to get me through the night. They were so kind! It was one less worry.

Was Great

I had been having a difficult travel day. Delays and rebookings resulted in 9 hours of traveling and a missed flight (by 10 min). I ended up at DFW overnight. I made a reservation at the GH and started making my way over there. My daughter called the front desk while I was on the Skylink and she spoke with RJ, who could not have been kinder. He was sympathetic to my daughter's concern for me and immediately thought of something he could do when I arrived. I had no knowledge of their conversation, so when I did arrive, I went to Steph, who was not working with a guest at that time. She knew who I was simply from hearing from RJ! She was so kind, which almost made me cry because I was so frustrated at that point. She was super helpful and I made my way up to my room. After speaking with my daughter, I was getting ready to get cleaned up after a long day of traveling, when RJ came up to introduce himself and bring me a bag of treats, along with a sweet note telling me I was his guest of the day. He also apologized for not coming up sooner! We also had a good laugh, because I opened the door to put out the do not disturb sign just as he was at the door, so we startled each other. I needed that laugh! The people you have working there are sincerely top notch. Even the two women who were there the next morning listening to me go on about how I wanted to tell a manager how great they were. The was busy and I had to leave for the gate, so I was given a card that I could write my thanks on and info on how I could get in touch with corporate. Everyone is professional, welcoming and sincere. Wonderful experience!

The hotel misstated the availability of a room confirmed a reservation for a room it did not provide. And may well have taken the payment for a room it did not provide.

Comfortable; Good desk service; Good check out. All well with our stay.

As our flight had an overnight delay due to severe storms we were thankful to have the amazing convenience to walk to the hotel and then walk to the TSA to get back into the airport very early the next morning. We will be checking into becoming Hyatt rewards members. Thank you!

Great hotel and very convenient for an early flight out. Just take the elevator down and you are in the TSA line. Very helpful.

Excellent service! Hospitality was great from the front desk to the bartender to housekeeping, excellent job.
