Nice, neat, clean hotel.
Reasonable prices for stay and at their restaurant. You have to get their fries. Nothing else special about the rooms or hotel. Recently remodeled, looks decent but was cheap remodel. Shower water pressure was terrible, but most are now days. Hotel staff was very friendly and it was very convenient having a restaurant inside the hotel always open with good food at fair prices. Overall for the money it was a good place to stay and I would book again. Also worth noting it was fairly quiet at night and we had no issues with safety. Always felt safe and free parking at the hotel.
My wife and I have been staying at the hotel for a very long time. The hotel is not the same. The area around the bar is nothing like it used to be. You can't get dessert at night. Staff is not as friendly and helpful as in the past. I understand the hotel is still completing renovations but the all round feeling at this property is just not the same. My wife and I try to stay at hyatt place properties were ever we travel and we like them all. Someone told me this is a franchise property and the owner is not always the best to deal with. We come back every year for the same event and are already looking at other options. Sad that we feel this way but this is the first time both my wife and I looked at each other and it sure isn't the same it used to be.
