The hotel is beautiful and everyone was so kind and accommodating.
I’ll start this off with our positives: the customer service was great when we called for something it was handled immediately. We had a dinner there that was wonderful and got 10% off with our coupon! The not so great: the gratis breakfast was totally not worth having. There were tiny scones and then a frittata which, when we got to it, was so dry it wasn’t like eggs any more. There were huge chunks of potato in it that had to be cut up to be eaten. No juice, no toast, nothing else. Our room was T I N Y! No TV, no frig, no microwave, no option for hot water, coffee. The thing however that was the worst was the lack of soundproofing in our room. I heard a mother singing what sounded like a lullaby to a child at one or two in the morning in the room above us. I knew there was a child because I could hear the child running around their room like it was in front of me. That was overhead. I heard our next door neighbor snoring all night! Great dinner location but we’d never stay there again and don’t recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful historic hotel. Thick towels, luxury bedding, antique well kept furniture and lovely staff. The saloon is a must see (and drink).
