The linen was disgusting.
I made a reservation with super8. When I got to the hotel I was told they over booked and they didn't have a room for me. I had to find another hotel.they were quick to charge my credit card.talked to several people.4 hours later I think I got my money back going to take two to three days to be sure.
At check in desk unattended. Had a bell that I rang. A 6 year old stepped away from his cartoon and said something that I could not understand. Next to the bell was a phone number to call no answer. I had to call out to the six year old to find someone. After 7or 8 minutes of this someone appeared. I showed her my paid receipt with the Itinerary Number (H9191554). She repeatedly kept telling me that I was not in the system as if I was to come up with the solution. I had to explain several times that I cannot help her with the s "system". Her solution was to check me in as a walk in and charge me the same rate. Again I showed her the receipt marked paid and had to explain that I was already charged for the room. Several more time she insisted on charging me again and I had to explain that I was not going to pay again. I asked her how she checked in my brother several hours earlier (as I reserved two rooms)? Finally she discovered that she checked me in several hours before I even arrived. I went to my room and the smoke detector kept activating. I tried calling the front desk no answer. I went down to the desk explained the situation about the alarm and was told that it would be fixed. As it was dinner time, I went out to eat. When I returned it had not been fixed. I had to repack and move rooms. The condition of both rooms was sad. Hangers' w/o the rings to hang them. Black growth in the bath. Holes in the wall. Filthy vent covers hanging off the wall. Black stained hand towels. A sink that leaked on to the floor all night. And the ever present smell through the entire build reminded me of the smokers' lounges in the airports rom 20 years ago. If requested, I can provide photos. My expectations of a simple clean room were not high but far from met. Havin traveled for work for 15+ years and experienced some wonderful facilities and some bottom of the barrel ones but I truly believe that this was the worst. I would appreciate a reply to this survey.
