The room was clean.
When we pulled up into the parking lot there was a cop car with lights on, obviously there on a dispatched call. It appeared to be very sketchy looking with broke down motor home and vehicle without tires in the parking lot. However the attendant in the office was polite and courteous. You have to speak to the office staff from outside and security window if you arrive after 10pm. That was uncomfortable with all the people walking around. Otherwise we were able to sleep and get back on the road without issues.
The room was not very clean. The beds were hard as a brick and they were very stingy with leaving you a bar of soap and towels in your room. The A/C was not very cold and the TV was too hard to figure out not a good experience and will not be returning to a motel six.
I suppose I am being especially critical because of price gagging on University Graduation weekend. I don't think this place is worth $300 to $400 a night under any circumstances, but quickly learned this is the norm on big weekends since everyone else is puking same exploitation. My room smelled like smoke and I noticed previous Tennant had covered smoke alarm with plastic. Had an otherwise musty smell that made me dry heave. Two tiny soap bars for bathroom amenities? No shampoo, etc? They say you get what you paid for, but I got what was available on an outrageously priced weekend. Hoping I am never this desperate again.
I have stayed her a few times. Very clean and comfortable.
No cold water in the sink, no coffee In the am and had to ask for clean towels and wash rags.
Paper thin walls,homeless all around lot of traffic noise.
My room was clean with no problems or issues. The staff were very polite and answered any questions happily. I enjoyed my visit. Thank you.
