Our first time staying at the Carlisle. It’s very nice and decorated beautifully for Christmas. Loved being able to walk to the Ohio Star theater and enjoy the show and walk back over to the inn.

Complimentary breakfast is included. A hot item is served each day as well as fruit, yogurt, bagels, sausage, as well as homemade breads and bakery delights from the adjacent Dutch Valley Bakery. If you prefer a more hearty option, a cost-effective upgrade for the full Dutch Valley Restaurant breakfast buffet is available through the front desk Monday - Saturday mornings.

We were lucky enough to secure a suite on the 2nd floor that was absolutely beautiful. Very elegant.
Everything was perfect with our stay including the room, our breakfast and the evening stacks that they put out!

Stayed several times over the last 10 years. Never disappoints. Very clean and decorated beautifully. Staff is always courteous and the breakfast and evening cookies are delicious. Pool and hot tub are clean and enjoyed year round. Love to come and stay usually twice a year.
The inn is beautiful especially with all the quilts throughout the building. The furniture and the wood trim add to the beauty as well. The room was spacious, had warm decor and the extra seating was welcomed. The extra vanity allowed two people to get ready at the same time. I do feel that the hair dryer and coffee maker should be separate, even just on opposite ends would be better. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was warm enough. The continental breakfast had good choices and the hot food was tasty. The evening snack was a surprise and treat to end the day. Overall, the Carlisle Inn was an excellent place to stay. It was easy to find as well. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and polite. Thank you for a good experience at your inn.
Not only beautiful but so clean and meticulously landscaped! The receptionist Robin was friendly and very informative on our multiple questions!

Two employees ignored us due to being on the phone. Even an acknowledgement that they knew we were standing there would have been at least a courtesy.
Relaxing and clean. Really enjoyed the break for the weekend. Love that they have little shops right on the grounds and the bakery is the best!

Loved our King Suite. Would have loved to use jacuzzi but no handrails for getting in and out. However, loved our room, hotel employees friendliness, and delicious breakfast. Look forward to staying at Carlyle again.
