The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Downtown offers a bar/lounge, parking, gym, WiFi/Internet, laundry facilities, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, 24/7 front desk, business center, and meeting rooms.
We went out after our first night there and came back to our pillows missing. Didn’t clean or anything, just took our pillows. Found out two days later that the cleaning people took them for another room. We were a little creeped out by it.
The hotel is very nice inside, the front desk staff was always polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and more than we expected. I would recommend this hotel and I would book a room again if the need ever came up.
Beds are hard, there were only two towels nothing else to bath with. Toilet ran if you didn’t work on it all night.
Hotel was ok. Rooms are old and A/C unit not the best. Breakfast people will literally kick you out once breakfast stops being served and are rude. Tons of hidden charges and I am still having to look through my card statement. Blood on the pull out sofa mattress. Carpet torn in places. Loud outside all night. Front desk people were nice.

Bad experience at the Connally Hotel. Would not recommend. Paid for "city view" and received a room in a corner that provided a sliver of a view of the capital building (when standing in the right location) and mostly a view of walls of the hotel and old poorly maintained roofs of buildings around the hotel. Awful area to stay and would not recommend going outside after dark. Graffiti on the surrounding buildings, lots of homelessness in the area. Left after an hour because I could not walk to my planned evening business event and back safely. Hotel was dated but at least clean. Far too expensive for the location and quality.
