Pillows are sooooo awesome and we got in at 2am and they accommodated our early check in. Wonderful experience.

My stay was pleasant. The hotel and rooms were charming.
While this hotel is oceanfront and the views are beautiful the facility overall is dated and it shows everywhere. Every floor and hallway had a different smell, the carpets absorbing all different aromas (felt dirty and gross). The hotel has a very different layout with two parts to the building, an old and an older addition. Some of the floors have no elevator access so bags need to be hauled up flights of stairs and the one elevator in the building is a very slow moving one. We brought 30 family members there for a memorial, which of course included children and it was very apparent that children are barely welcomed or tolerated there. Staff are older and likely tired and that's understandable, but in the industry and given the circumstances would have expected more hospitality. The pool facility was not as pictured, also dated and not desirable. The hot tub was closed and drained, with no notice of this prior to. Staff in the restaurant were extremely rude and short tempered and our experience there in general fell extremely flat. Was average price, the rooms with laminate flooring felt much cleaner than the rooms with the dated carpet, but overall poor experience. Would never go back.
