Yes, ice machine was broken on the fourth floor… lack of security was surprising. Anyone could walk in and use the elevator to get upstairs not to mention I don’t like the fact that I had to pre pay two months before using one of your third party services for booking Also, the back door would not open with my key card. I told the front desk lady she acted like there was a ticket for it to be fixed.
Our room was really nice and very clean.
Our experience was very good. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Warm greetings upon arrival. The rooms were spotless as was the lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast offerings. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Not a new hotel but staff was helpful and friendly and the room was clean. However, the hotel could use some upgrades. The queen beds were really queen mattresses on a full frame so you would roll off the bed if you got too close to the sides. Breakfast was very good. Would loved to have had a hot tub. Overall good but not great.
We have, in all our travels, found very few places with the pleasant ambience that exists in the Wingate. Always a peaceful refuge from a day of travel.
Each time I needed something, the staff was there to help.
