"Historic place to stay."

It was secure, quite and historic. I will return.

I explained my displeasure to your front desk person earlier today. The A/C or air ventilation system did not work in my room. I was not able to sleep much and only after a couple of attempts found a small modicum of relief by opening the windows…still much too hot however. I am glad I only had to stay for one night; next time I may have to consider other options.

"Historic Hotel but Stingy with Breakfast."

Not sure if it's just because the hotel resides in CA, but damn you can't go back for seconds because of some ongoing fake pandemic. Time to let that go and get back to normal, friendly service, seconds for breakfast and a toilet that does not run all night. Lions Gate is historic. However, they act like it. Update upgrade and get staff that enjoy their jobs. Breakfast staff Amazing, house cleaning staff rock on. Desk staff, well let's just say didn't seem like they wanted to be there and I'm a very friendly person. No reciprocity on friendly. Will I stay there again? Yes I will because it's historic and a four min walk from the training center. Hoping they change their ways about breakfast and greet people at the front desk at least act like they want to be there and want to make you happy.
