The front desk people was very kind.
The ceiling above the shower was moldy and the bathroom door would not shut. The smell inside the room had a dirty/ mold smell. And the outside environment was a bit shady to the point I really didn’t know if I would see a drive by shooting or have my car broke into. The clerk inside the office was friendly though.
Not safe and it smelled bad I was not pleased the deposit of 100.00 was not necessary the room was not good.
Not a great start, when calling to reserve, asked if person was at hotel, as I hate third party reservation.Arriving, was informed of the need for my creditcard deposit in event, anything stolen or damaged. Three towels, three washcloths, three hand towels. One room key. Desk asked for deposit I event of blood spots, needels, etc. I inquired as to what kind of place, have their been murders here.? Was told cleaning lady would count and check room to be sure all good. I asked to have room checked after breakfast but no cleaning lady until 9. Other gals had come due to pool,which was not opened from winter. Will, of course not return.

Maintenance is at a low ebb. The toilet seat fell off, the hair dryer was broken, ice maker ran out of ice, the bathroom fan could be heard from outside the room. The rooms are in bad need of paint and the blackout curtains are like screen. On the good side trash outside was at a minimum and the room and sheets were clean. The breakfast had package omlettes and supposedly sausage (it never showed up)as well as pancakes, yogurt and raising bran and Froot Loops.They do take dogs, but requires $20 dog fee and a $100 deposit which was never explained. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Tub wouldn’t drain. The front door and bathroom door stuck. Nice bedding. The $100 deposit thing is crazy. The room is too high for its quality.
Nice folks. Great Mexican restaurant adjacent. Due to a surgery at UAMS Med Center, the fella kindly moved me from the 2nd floor to a 1st room floor.
