35 years ago this was the favorite Motel in my entire W. Tex N.M sales territory. This trip my experience was a near disaster. It wasn't a total disaster because the desk clerk did everythng in his power to accomodate us and gave a, "no hassle" refund. The original room had a moderate stale smoke odor. After trying four times to code a key for another room, the clerk used his master key. Fortunately the room smelled smoke free. Unfortunately there was hair and other debris on the dresser and mold above the tub. The overall apprearance of the facility was very "run down" with very stained carpet. This is by far the worse looking La Quinta Iv'e seen. I'm frankly surprised La Quinta allows their name to be associated with this facility.

Nice management. Clean sheets and towels.
Toilet seat broken. People smoking pot in parking lot. (Employees). The most uncomfortable pillows there is. Do not stay here. No condiments for breakfast. Powder eggs,potatoes,. No ketchup,salsa,milk,no syrup for waffles, Asked at desk. Was told mgmt cutting back. Do not stay here.
We had a great overnight stay.
For a place that allows pets it’s a good stay. I appreciate very much you allow pets. The gentleman that works the afternoon shift is always very polite.
