Energy Conservation: We recently installed CFL lighting… We use motion detectors so that the lights turn off when the meeting rooms are not occupied… Our outdoor lights have timer switches… Our thermostats are controlled by timers… Water Conservation: All guest rooms have notices posted asking guests to indicate if towels and sheets are to be reused or washed… We installed low-flush toilets… Our dishwashers are saving water… Food Composting: We hand over food waste to a composting program for agricultural reuse… We donate unused plates of food to a local shelter or meal program…

The Marriot Uptown in Albuquerque NM is a good place to rest your head after a stress ful day of travel and training. The moment you walk in you are greeted by a nice clean look and smell. The staff is friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable.
I am so impressed with the clerk that was checking in people on Friday afternoon, The young man that was working at the reservation desk was absolutely wonderful!
Maxwell helped us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. He went out of his way to greet and ask how we were and if we needed anything. Our stay was so much better because Maxwell was so generous and kind. Marriott needs more employees like Maxwell. Please extend our greatest gratitude to him for all his hard work.

When checking in waste basket was not empty. Daily service we did not get replacement wash cloths. The place seemed clean but these oversights made us wonder.
The overall stay was great! I would have liked an instructional note by the coffee maker. There were fingerprints on the bathroom door other than that it was an amazing experience.
Free WiFi and in room refrigerator are essential anywhere you go. but they were not provided in my room, which is absurd considering the astronomical room rate. Third world accomodations.
The Staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Room was very clean and smelt fresh. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
The bed and pillows are great. The heating system is quiet and the staff is excellent.

It was a good experience. We appreciated the walk-in shower and the temperature control. It was so convenient to be just feet away from highway 40. The food was very good at the bar restaurant. I would go again just to have the crispy shrimp tacos!
