The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort offers a wide range of amenities including a spa, outdoor pool, golf course, and concierge services.
We love staying at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in North Tucson when we come to visit family. This large resort has recently been remodeled inside and beautifully so. Generously sized rooms are either facing the wondrously craggy walls of Ventana Canyon or or outwards towards the high vistas of Tucson and the Santa Rita Mtns in the distant south. There are several nature trails and a waterfall on the grounds of the resort. The resort pool is lovely though purposely not re fitted for families (it doesn’t offer waterslides or the like, so it less raucous which is a good thing for vacationing adults). The resort restaurants offer decent and creative menus (examples: Creole style grilled shrimp, sausage and grits. The Chocolate Mousse with Pistachios, black cherries and merengue for dessert was AMAZING!) So, all in all, if you are a couple (not traveling with children) or event organizer looking for a lovely resort experience this is the place for you!
This is not our first experience at the Ventana. We always look forward to our stay. Personal service and luxury settings make so happy.
The food and service were excellent. However, the odor throughout the common areas was awful. I'm allergic to fragrances. They give me a headache and sometimes tightness in my chest. If they aren't eliminated we won't be able to come to Loews Ventana again. Sorry. Please be considerate of those of us with fragrance allergies.
