A comfortable hotel that probably has not changed much since the mid century heyday of the Tamiami Trail on which it sits! It is a very comfortable hotel — good size and clean. Room that includes a refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven, comfortable bed and a porch or patio for each room. The staff is top notch from the front desk to the housekeeping folks. It's location along “the Trail” is really convenient to downtown Sarasota, the excellent Ringling Museum and other attractions south of Tampa Bay.
