Hilton is proud to be part of a very extensive "Go Green" program that is implementes at our Homewood Suites Chula Vista Eastlake. Some of the programs strategies and practices are as follows: • Assigned Committee that is responsible for developing an Environmental Green Plan for energy, water and solid waste use. • Monitoring the electric, gas, water and waste usage information on a monthly and annual basis. • incandescent lamps rather than compact fluorescent lamps wherever possible. • digital thermostats in guestrooms and throughout the hotel. • Implementation of towel and/or linen reuse program. • 2.5-gallons-per-minute or less showerheads in all guestroom baths and any employee shower areas. • 1.6-gallon-per-flush toilets in all guestrooms. • recycling program—including in public spaces—to the full extent available in our municipality • recycling program for hazardous materials found in fluorescent bulbs, batteries and lighting ballasts through licensed service providers. • Energy Star labeled appliances and equipment. • All office paper products should have 20 percent or more post consumer recycled content.
Homewood's complimentary Suite Start Breakfast is a great way for our Guests to start their day! Featuring a generous variety of fresh-cooked hot and bakery items, our breakfast is one of the reasons our Guests come back again and again. Breakfast is served daily as follows: Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00 – 9:30 a.m. Weekends and holidays from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The Homewood Suites Complimentary Evening Social provides us with an opportunity on Monday through Thursday evenings to warmly welcome and socialize with our Guests while they enjoy beverages and lite "small plate" offerings that are just right as an appetizer or as a small, satisfying meal. The social hour is offered for two hours between 5:00 – 7:00 p.m, Monday through Thursday. Service of the social on major holidays is optional.
Self-parking is included in the rate for all Homewood Suites guests. Special designated parking spaces are available for Diamond members of the Hilton Honors membership program.
Standard high speed wi-fi access is complimentary to all Homewood guests and optional premium upgrade is available for an additional fee.
