The cool thing about Mainstay Suites at PGA Village is that it offers a variety of amenities including a kitchen in each guestroom, an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a complimentary continental breakfast.
We had a one night overnight and I'm elated it was only ONE NIGHT. I chose this property due to the proximity to Clover Park field and room rates (compared to everything in a 10 mile radius). Now I know why that was. Check in did go smooth,and the desk clerk was friendly and efficient. That's where kudos end! The hotel smelled 'antiseptic', kinda like the entire property was fumigated or mold mitigated. After unloading our items in the room, I searched for an ice bucket and alas, there was none. hmmmm, strange. Back down to the desk I went and asked for one. I was handed a Styrofoam bowl since the front desk had none. Weird. The bed(s) were indeed comfortable so that's a brownie point. The room was painted, repainted, then was in dire need of a repainted again.showering in the morning was gross. The tub appeared as It hadn't had a thorough cleaning in centuries,and the shower head appeared to have mold around the jets. To top this off, housekeeping left a prior guests used and hair laced soap bar on the shower shelf. YUCK! I should've known you get what you pay for. I would NOT stay at this property again and will not recommend it to anyone.
