Front desk women were just lovely and the room was comfortable.
One elevator shut down leaving only one. Long waits! Stairs difficult with the one on the east side leading to NO way to escape. Just went down to the very warm bowels of the building, maybe furnace area. Had to climb all the way back up. Very difficult, even a bit scary! The exit steps on the west side at least finally allowed us out near first floor. Very poor marked. Actually not marked at all other than an exit sign on the east side. Other than that, many signs of an old hotel, but everything worked well and rooms were clean and comfortable!

Highly Recommend!
We were disappointed that we were given two towels instead of three towels as there were three of us. It was frustrating that all the bathrooms on the lobby floor were locked. One nice thing was they thru let us store our luggage when we went out for breakfast. A guy at the front desk gave us some water bottles which was very nice of him. The TV did not work! It would turn on but would not move to any channels. That was very frustrating! The pipes broke on Friday night so there was no water for five hours.
This is our third stay. We will continue to stay at this Holiday Inn for the attentive service, employees with great attitudes and personality and clean rooms. Also, the breakfast bar is fantastic!
We had a good experience. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is old and needs updating, otherwise would have had five stars.
