Based on the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby, we spent several days at the Waddling Dog in February 2026. The staff were so welcoming and responsive to any request. Our room was just right and the bed was quite comfortable. The library is a wonderful spot not only to enjoy the included breakfast but to meet through the day with friends. Having a restaurant on the premises was a plus, as was the proximity to the highway (We spent time in both Victoria and Sidney, each a short drive from the hotel.).
Friendly and courteous staff as well as clean and comfortable accommodations. Food in the pub was delicious.
Excellent Inn. Whenever I can I stay.
After staying there years ago, it was great to see all the improvements, but nice to see some of the old look still there. Only thing missing is the dog!
