We had an excellent experience with Marriott Dallas Uptown. The staff worked to accommodate us by quickly moving the extra bed that was in our room, giving my daughter and granddaughter adjoining rooms and reserving us a table in the bar when the restaurant didn’t open due to waiter shortage. We appreciated the excellent design of the closet. Our car was brought very quickly by the valet workers.
The front desk and bar staff were helpful and attentive. My room was extremely comfortable with an amazing bed, pillow, silky smooth sheets and best of all a thermostat that actually resulted in the room temp I selected and stayed there. Another wonderful perk is that my room was very quiet, which was such a surprise considering the hotel location in the heart of Dallas. I stayed at the Ritz in Dallas two weeks ago and the Marriot Uptown room was preferable in every way: quieter, better temp control, more comfortable bed and sheets and more helpful staff, which is pretty high praise compared to the Ritz.
