Our room was cleaned to our satisfaction.
The cleanliness of the elevator is woefully lacking. There was only a half a roll of toilet paper in my room. The batteries on the remote control were very low. It said to call to the front desk to get it replaced. So I called, but they said, just pointed closer at the little box. I had to go downstairs to get more toilet paper. The people were very friendly though. And their breakfast is nothing to write home about.
Tried to call motel, got some booking agent. On the phone with the agent for at least 30 minutes, trying to get my card to go through. Asked a number of times, to talk directly to the motel because I stayed there the night before, but would not let me. I totally know why now, so they can gouge me on price and waste 30minutes of frustrating time. I'll drive to the motels from NOW ON and ask for vacancy, much faster and less stressful. I really hope this does not fall on deaf ears.
