I heard a lot of bad things about the Claridge hotel, but when I stayed the two night it was very nice and the renovation is going to be awesome. One of my family members had the pleasure of getting the renovated rooms I will stay there again .The elevators was to longer wait time only problem I had.
Room had musty smell that air conditioner helped somewhat. Room too hot on entering. Shower had to be entered to turn on resulting in cold blast. Lounge needs chairs that are more comfortable. Vue bar restaurant way too loud and too enclosed. Toilet handle was an industrial one you would find in an old public school. Price is very reasonable but will not stay here again until complete renovation.

The staff was friendly and efficient; the room was clean. I would stay here again.
First room refrigerator was not cleaned out. Second room either. Roach in the bathroom. Pipe break in the middle of the night in the hotel causing all water to be shutdown in the entire hotel until afternoon the next day. We checked out a day early due to these issues and having difficulties canceling reservation via third party.
Hotel had no water for over 12 hours. String odor through out the hotel. People wander into and out of hotel who appear to be strung out on drugs.
The place is great.
